Tulikivi - Benefits - Quality - Value
There are many home improvement products available with an almost limitless combination of benefits. Making decisions between products with dissimilar functions and benefits is relatively easy. For example, the choice between a large screen home entertainment center and a fireplace is relatively clear cut.
With products having similar functions, making the best decision for your situation requires a much closer analysis of the actual benefits offered. When a careful analysis of the quantity and the quality of product benefits with similar functions is not made price not benefits reign supreme.
Another pitfall in the decision making process between products of similar function is the application of the word quality. If quality is ascribed to the product and not the benefit of the product it is easy to become confused or even mislead. Remember that while all products will claim quality related to one or more of their benefits, all products do not offer the same benefits and the benefits they do offer can vary greatly in quality as well as quantity.
In general, higher quality and greater quantity of benefits means higher price. Claims of high quality and low price without a careful analysis of benefit value may result in disappointment.
