Already widely used throughout Europe, the "Bratrost" has recently become available in the United States. This ingenious insert is constructed of sturdy stainless steel, specifically designed to slip into the grate of a Tulikivi firebox. Use the Bratrost when the fire has burned down to the coal stage for grilling, or slip it into the firebox after he fire has burned out completely to bake or roast. After cooking, the Bratrost insert can be pulled out easily for cleaning.
